Intellectual property attorney Arthur J. DeBaugh is a North Carolina Board Certified Specialist in Trademark Law and is recognized for many years of advising clients on trademark clearance, registration, enforcement, dispute resolution, and licensing.
Art served as former in-house counsel for Sara Lee Corporation(opens in new tab) and has successfully prosecuted more than 3,000 trademark applications in various industries such as software, electronics, health care, marketing, consumer packaged goods, apparel/textile, retail, food & beverage, and higher education.
As a recognized North Carolina Super Lawyer(opens in new tab) in Intellectual Property, Art guides his clients through the process of bringing products to market, intellectual property policies and procedures, and confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements with employees, vendors, and third-party contractors.
His practice also extends to privacy issues, sweepstakes and contest rules, franchise issues, domain names, cybersquatting, and other internet issues.
Arthur J. Debaugh received his B.A. and J.D. from the University of North Carolina(opens in new tab) at Chapel Hill. He was admitted to practice in North Carolina in 1988.
