Allman Spry Adds Criminal Law Practice Section
Allman Spry welcomes Bernard (Bernie) Michael Desrosiers, who will anchor the firm’s newly formed criminal law practice section.
Bernie served as a state court prosecutor from 2007 until 2011, when he joined the criminal defense firm of Grace Tisdale & Clifton, P.A. in Winston Salem. Bernie has extensive jury trial experience. During the course of his career, he has represented, and will continue to represent, clients in matters involving white collar crimes, gaming law and firearms violations, narcotics, DWI, serious misdemeanors, and violent felonies. Bernie has been recognized as one of the American Institute of Criminal Law Attorneys’ “10 Best Under 40.” The National Trial Lawyer Association also designated Bernie as one of its “Top 40 Under 40” in the area of criminal law.
Bernie attended Campbell University, where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree (cum laude) in English in 2003, a Master’s Degree in Trust and Investment Management from Campbell University Lundy-Fetterman School of Business in 2004, and a Juris Doctorate from Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law in 2007.
Bernie is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, its Young Lawyer’s Division, and the Forsyth County Bar Association. He has also been elected to serve on the Criminal Justice Section of the North Carolina Bar Association.
