Ty P. Long
Attorney
Estate planning and estate administration attorney Ty P. Long joined the firm after graduating from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2024. While at Wake Law, Ty was a Leadership and Character Scholar and earned the 2024 Dean’s Award. Prior to law school, Ty earned his undergraduate degree at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, where he was a founding member of Duke LIFE — a student group for low-income and first-generation college students.
Ty took a particular interest in decedents’ trusts and estates while at Wake Forest Law through taking a variety of classes and working as a research assistant for Professor Tanya Marsh. Ty practices primarily in the firm’s Estate Planning, Estate Administration, and Elder Law practice group.
Outside of his work, Ty enjoys playing basketball and spending time with his family and friends. Ty is a native of Western North Carolina and enjoys returning to WNC to hike and fly fish.
